About Institution

SUVR & SR Govt.Polytechnic for Women, located at Ethamamukkala village, Kothapatnam Mandal, Prakasam District which is 800mtrs away from sea shore . The institution was established in 1987 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh. The polytechnic offers three diploma programmes: Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer and Commercial Practice. The campus spans 9.25 acres of land (Reg. No. 333/2 dated 18--1987) and has a built-up area of 8,879.774 square meters, providing a conducive environment for academic and practical learning.In the year 2024 the Computer Engineering Program got ACCREDITED by NBA team.
