SUVR & SR GOVT. Polytechnic for women Library was established in the year 1987. The objective of the library is to provide a wide range of reference materials to improve the knowledge and thought process of the academic fraternity and students. The Library is located on the first floor of the administrative block of the institution. The Library has been remaining open from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm on all working days. The Library has a good collection of textbooks and e-resources for the benefit of the students and faculty members. The Library has a unique collection of 5114 books covering all the important areas of engineering such as  Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer and Commercial Practice various general subjects, and reference books.  Presently, the library uses MIS Library module software, provided by the Department of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh. At present, the technical processing of books has been completed and the circulation of books is being done with this software.

 In addition, the digital library provides six computers where students can access all kinds of useful e-content
